Our Director

So you’ve looked all around this site, and with all the exciting things to see you have still come back to me?   Well, okay, since you are so persistent, here’s my story:

I was introduced to The Fragrant Lemon Peel in December of 2003 by my now good friend and recruiter Donna Hawley (Dir of Heaven Scent).  Donna and I were both working at the same local private school.  She had just returned from maternity leave and was so excited about getting back to TFLP.  She kept showing me the catalog and telling me about the products.  I would listen politely, smile and say “uh-huh.”

Meanwhile I was mom to a 3 year old boy, Zachary, and step mom to 3 more boys.  My very best friend went and moved almost an hour away, so I was all alone with my hubby and lots of boys!  No girls to hang with at all!  I needed some female friends and Donna kept inviting me over to these Spa Parties.  So by March she had worn me down.  I really liked her and I wanted to be her friend, so if I had to go to a Spa Party I was going to do it (at my husband’s urging!).  So I asked her for a catalog which she happily handed over.

I sat home that night and read the catalog front to back at least 3 times.  I also hopped on the website which at that point had very little to offer, man I wish we had a forum back then!  In addition to teaching at the private school I was also IT Manager for a manufacturer’s rep agency.  The company was the exclusive reps of 4 of the 5 biggest names in SPA at the time.  I was getting samples from those companies for free,

Boy was I ever wrong!  I went to Donna’s; played in all the products, fell in love with the best fragrances and nicest products I had yet encountered!  I signed my agreement that night, I had to, if not I would have bought everything in the catalog!  I had my kit a couple weeks later and my first party happened in April 2004.  You can visit our forum to read more about that! 

When I started I never even dreamed of building a team but by June I had 2 reps on my team and the SCENTsational SPArty-Girls were born!  And the following year so was my youngest SPA girl, Zeta!  I am training her to SPA-rty now so at 18 she can sign her agreement and build her own TFLP kingdom! 

 When my daughter turned 1 at the end of Jan 2006 I decided I was tired of having

 to miss out on time with her and her brother.  Zach was now 5 and struggling in Kindergarten.  So I made a plan to get serious.  I told my husband I was going to start working TFLP like a real business and not like a hobby.  In Feb I made the commitment to become a Director and I successfully made the leap in March!

In April of 2006 we celebrated my 28^th birthday and the debut of the SCENTsational SPArty-Girls Unit.  The 3^rd unit in TFLP making me a founding Director!  Our unit is growing by leaps and bounds.  2006 is our year!  If you would like to know more about TFLP and how you can join us simply contact me via e-mail.   I will be happy to provide you with more info and get you in touch with you nearest local Spa Rep! 

Update: October 2006  Zach is now Homeschooled!  Thanks to TFLP I have my dream of being a Stay at Home Wife & Mom!
